is a free messenger app for Symbian which allows you to contact with
your beloved ones and your friends and family. It is developed by Viber
Media Inc. It helps you to send SMS to your friend free of charge.
Viber is very popular app for all
platforms, now it has introduced to Symbian. It allows you to
communicate with your all friends and family by using your real phone
numbers. Viber itself searches the viber users from your contact list
automatically and adds them to your Viber contact book, and then you can
send them text messages without using your normal network. But it will
use data connection of the same network.
Viber for Symbian allows you to do only
text messages and file or photo sharing. It will not allow to do voice
chat or voice calls and video chat or video calls. On the other hand,
the other versions for other platforms have the ability to do voice or
video calls. But this one has only ability to do SMS or photo and file
sharing. It has another good feature which is; you can share your
current location with your friends via GPS positioning.
Viber supports group messaging too, it
allows you to send text messages and chat up to 40 people at a time. It
is very easy to use app. You just need to install and use it; you don’t
need to do any registration, passwords and invitations. You need to do
only a single thing; select a contact from list and then start
communicating with him or her.
Consequently, there is a lack of voice
or video call, but still it has more than 200 million users in 193
countries. You should have 3G or 4G connection for using this app. It’ll
